Met with my new Jewish Cardiologist yesterday. He is replacing Dr. Samir Kabani from Syria. I miss the updates on the Syrian Civil war,and our discussions on religion. ( Kabani is a Muslim whose brother is in the Syrian army). He moved to Florida.But when I mentioned the dangers of blood thinners to Dr Fleishman for someone like me who worked in a wood shop a lot, he launched into a detailed discussion of table saws. He has some really cool equipment. As he left the room he said that when he read that bumper sticker that says,"My boss is a Jewish Carpenter" he thought they were talking about Norm Abrams! We are going to get along just fine.
