MetroNews Morning News Headlines: Appalachian Power is working to restore power more than 4,000 homes across southern West Virginia this morning. Overnight storms caused widespread problems and more stores are in the forecast this afternoon and tonight. Kanawha County Commissioners are miffed with county prosecutor Mark Plants. Plants failed to attend a special meeting of the Commission on Tuesday where they discussed paying for a special prosecutor assigned to handle domestic violence cases. Plants faces misdemeanor domestic charges and has been disqualified from those kinds of matters. The commission is paying a special prosecutor $200 an hour. Three people are in custody after a murder in Nicholas County. James Frame, 39, was found dead at a home in Birch River. Charged with killing him is Kristopher Love, 26, along with Michelle Stull, 30, and Michael Wood, 24 with accessories after the fact. Bridgeport Mayor Mario Blount is indicted by a federal grand jury. Blount is charged with dispensing painkillers outside of the scope of his professional practice as a pharmacist.
