Mets lose 3-1. Were denied the 4 game sweep. This series was still crucial. It woke many of us up and this team gave us a glimpse of how dangerous they can be in this series. Tonight, on clutch hitting. Colon pitched pretty poorly in the beginning, but picked it up later in the game. This series was pivotal and the Mets put together 3 victories against the division leaders. With the Marlins coming in next we will soon know if the Mets are buyers or sellers this deadline. I still dont understand why Collins pinch hit Chris Young for Eric Young in the 9th, especially when we needed baserunners. Oh well. I still think this series vs. Miami is huge. Ill be happy if we take 2 of 3 or sweep before the all star break. -JY
