Mi periquito Brad P a muerto! I want to share something with you about my parakeet Brad. Yesterday, he died. I had two (Brad and Princess). I always spoke to them in the evenings and yesterday he looked a little tired so I thought that maybe he wanted to sleep, I let them alone to rest. The next day (today) I was going to give them breakfast and I didnt see him in the birdcage, so I started looking for him and found him in the corner of the birdcage in a sleeping position. OMG...you do not know the pain I felt seeing him dead and stiff. Brad had two families before us, the first one didnt want him and the second one had children + a neighbors cat. That family asked me if I wanted him in order to save him, so I said of course! Brad was in bad shape but we took him to the vet and he advised us how to take care of him plus we bought him a new partner to be fully happy. Brad was very happy and a proud boy! He lived with us 5 years we think he was 8 years old. Tomorrow will be his funeral. You might think Im crazy to tell this story, but Brad was my first pet when I come to the USA. All bonded with us, becoming close friends, so we are saddened by this second loss. We performed a ceremony to bless Brad and send him on his way, knowing there are many animal lovers who feel the same about the loss of their pets.
