MiNNEMANN/BRiNKANN, Motor (released in 2002). This is a collaboration with my friend Mario Brinkmann. Hes an amazing synthesist and in Kraftwerk like manner, hes enthusiastic about building unique, electronic Instruments. Really great and very in your face like, non-comparable sounds. On this album the concept was to have one party being the instrumentalist, meeting the synthetic machine man. I think songs that really reflect on how well this fusion works are: Document parts 1-4, Motor, Experiment (where the key pattern throughout the song btw are drums, re-amped and miked through a vacuum cleaner hose), and Empty X-mas Streets. cdbaby/cd/minnebrink
