Mia is still sedated, although they are starting to wean her off the morphine and miclazolam and she is starting on oral sedation. Which Is a step forward as shes tolerating feeds. She has been put on a filter which Is a special type of dialysis they use in intensive care and are taking all her extra fluid off her slowly. She woke up briefly this morning while me and the nurse were talking about harry her little brother, she woke up and tried sitting up and was responding to my questions and clapped her hands once we had finished washing her hair and body :) then she fell back off to sleep again. She will be reviewed again in the morning by the intensive care team regarding her intubation and ventilation
