Miami Police Department’s Major Delrish Moss released this - TopicsExpress

Miami Police Department’s Major Delrish Moss released this statement in regard to soon-to-be-EX-City of Miami Police Officer Christopher Vitals late night arrest for DUI, DWLS, possession of marijuana, heroin and cocaine and criminal mischief (which comes less than a year after his arrest for disorderly intox from 2013 and which was predicated upon his having sped past an officer who was responding to an accident on the MacArthur Causeway and driving at speeds in excess of 100 mph) : The Miami Police Department frowns upon the behaviors alleged in the arrest of Christopher Vital. As a member of law enforcement, Mr. Vital is held to a high standard and he is now the subject of an internal administrative investigation. He has been relieved of his police duties without pay pending his termination. The American judicial system affords everyone the presumption of innocence until proven guilty and Mr. Vital is no different; however, the Miami police will exercise its right to take appropriate actions based on the administrative findings. This holds true even if he is found not guilty in a criminal proceeding. Um yeah.... enough said. When it comes to the subject of drinking and driving, the best advice that you are ever going to hear is: Dont do it! Get a DD (Designated Driver), not a DUI. Be smart{er than soon-to-be-EX-City of Miami Police Officer Christopher Vital}: Dont drink and drive, but, if you do {then leave your pot, heroin and cocaine at home}, just say NO{thing}, dont blow (in FL your 2nd subsequent refusal is a crime) and call me stat at 305-381-8686, 305-798-2220, **ARRESTED, **305DUI, **MIAMIDUI, **MIAMILAW or **HABERLAW.
