Miami!! We LOVE Miami! A few reasons, mainly because the weather at this time of year is very pleasant, but also everything is definitely bigger in America and finally because the shopping is cheap! We had a very long day unloading a container, moving our boat and all our extras across the sea to our sailing club and then rigging it all up and finding our spot in the boat park. A couple of days in the gym and sailing before the North American Championships started yesterday. It was a very tricky unstable day with big pressure differences and wind shifts. Basically meaning that you needed your sensible gamblers hat on, hedging your bets and always staying in the game. We did a reasonable job, even starting the 2015 season with a race win in race 1! However despite this, my highlight was definitely on our return to the boat park ramp....on trying to avoid the boys fleet who had conveniently all arrived just a few minutes before us, Sas fell in off the front of the boat. I unfortunately couldnt stop laughing and become 100% useless when this happens! Luckily whilst in the water Sas navigated us to safety :)
