Michael C. “Shep” Collins Age 69, of Pennsboro, WV, passed away Oct0ber 04, 2014, at Care Haven Nursing Home in Belmont, WV. He is survived by his mother, Bernice Collins; children, Michael (Janet), Doug (Olivia), Tracy (Justin), Michelle and Matt; siblings, Linda (Dave) Kelly, Tom (Donna) Collins and Brenda (Mark) Riddle; six grandchildren; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Benton Collins. Mike graduated from Pennsboro High School in 1963 and then served four years in the U. S. Marine Corps. He retired from Coldwater Creek in 2007. Mike enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and his dogs, studying the Bible, playing softball, hunting, fishing, and playing poker. A memorial service will be 10 AM - Noon Saturday at Ellenboro Fire Department. He will be greatly missed.
