Michael PeeWee Andrew Williams, Sr. October 27, 1947 - January 21, 2015 Michael “PeeWee” Andrew Williams, Sr., 67, of Troutman, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Born October 27, 1947, in Mooresville, NC, he was a son of the late Otto and Lucille Smith Williams. Mr. Williams worked for Hunt Distribution Center in Statesville for 15 years. He was a member of Troutman Baptist Church. Mr. Williams loved his church and his church family. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Williams, Jr. and a brother, Benny Williams. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Patricia Ferrell Williams, whom he married July 1, 1973; children, Lisa Ann Hege (Chris), of Lexington, Michelle Scott, of Troutman, Ginger Grimm, of Charlotte, and Chris S. Williams, of Troutman; his best friend, his 13 year old white lab, Precious; brother, Jeff “J.W.” Williams, of Davidson, sister, Judy Tafta, of Greenwood, SC; grandchildren, Linden Scott, Cassie Scott, Shane Williams, Brandon Grimm, Shawn Williams, Andrew Williams, Brandy Grimm and Blake Grimm; and great grandson, Tripp Bridges. A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, January 26, at Troutman Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Kramm and Rev. Henry Cook officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:15 – 12 Noon on Monday, prior to the service at the church.
