Michael here, I thought I would share some good news today as its contrary to what the papers say. Youre only told about the scrounging immigrants getting housing which upsets us all. However I Michael Knight have been given the keys today for my first ever council property and its specially designed for a wheelchair. No paying someone worse norgafe as I have been for 18 years. So disabled veterans do get housed. Not enough of them and too many houses going to people whove never put a penny in the pot, Im mean taxs not service. Ive been working since I was 15. Spent 9 years in the Army but am left Band B disabled but with perseverance and wonderful support Ive got a home and its mine for as long as I want it. When Im better and back to work, it stays mine but I pay rent on it then. Good news. I share the good and bad news about the back tomorrow or next week as Im moving this weekend. Yipeeee. No stairs, oh and this place has a wet room. I could shower in my chair. Oh to be super clean every day. Its the little things like that I missed a lot. Catch you in a few days with a spine update.
