Michelle and Geraldine, tested and its still alive. But the terminals of the battery compartment is highly corroded, thus cannot close the circuit to power the drive. I will try to buy the DVD size battery holder to replace; but with the current arrangement, its a challenge. I will see what can be done. May be installed the battery compartment outboard. Sorry it took so long... Busy with Hann and at work. Only this afternoon then managed to buy a 9V battery holder to test it. No where in our neighbourhood sells battery holder.
