Mick East Reports: Woke up this morning with the wind and weather nothing like the forecast so decided to give the boat a miss and both of us went to Fogarty cove NPD to do some competitive fishing for gars .Its a great way to get a fishing itch scratched when the weathers against you .Ended up catching 60 plus fish between us (about even scores) and getting lots of laughs when the little buggers jumped and spat the hooks so much so that a small family group that were fishing up the bank a bit came to see what all the fun was about We gave them a float and some small hooks and told them how to fish for gars and within a couple minutes of they were catching their own gars much to the delight of the small boy they had with them .So a couple of hours of fun and some more prime bait in the freezer just need some good weather so we can use it. *NSF*
