Microsoft’s #PatchTuesday is tomorrow. If your PC is set up to automatically download and install these patches, it will likely restart Wed at 3:00 am. Or, it may ask for an install or restart when you come into work Wednesday morning. Four security bulletins will be released -- one of them (IE) is rated critical. The patch will fix a number of remote code execution vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer in all supported versions of Windows. If left unpatched, the browser is subject to attacks that execute malicious code on victim machines, so getting the updates to patch it is important, says Ross Barrett, a security engineer at Rapid7. “This will be the top patching priority for this month,” he says. Other patches are for Windows 8, 8.1, RT, Server 2003, 08 and 12. threatpost/patch-tuesday-includes-another-ie-update-vuln-disclosures-up
