Mid-day update: after several hours on the cloud line from the Lake Effect, were back into it. It was whiteout for a bit but has tapered off some since. We are holding up fine: food, water, power, heat and cable are all good. Got enough gas for perhaps one more pass on the driveway with the snowblower. End of driveway we do have a passageway to walk out if needed. Saw another plow today so at least theres room to get emergency crews through. Got 6-7 inches overnight, and have at least another 3 or 4 in the past hour that the snow moved back in. Push our overall total to around 63 inches. Seeing some neighbors helping others out, theres a roof rake in the neighborhood that I hope is being shared...some roofs look scary. Wouldnt hurt to get a roof rake at our place, not sure just how much it can handle. Others look more dire. Wish I could do more to get out and help but its taken all weve got just to dig ourselves out. Gotta deliver a battery to a neighbor with a non-working CO detector. Keep us in prayer, and again if youre coming from out of the area to help with the dig-out, blessings on you and be safe!!!
