**********Mid to Late Lane Phase*********** I like to make my first shopping trip at level 4. I normally have enough gold at this point to finish my Philosopher Stone and 1 or 2 wards. If things have gone well I can get a pink ward too. At this point in the game where you ward still depends on how agressively your adc is playing. If your adc is pushing past the river wards at dragon and tri bush are good, but if you only have one ward you need to put it at the mouth of the river (7 or 4). If you only ward dragon the enemy can sneak in behind the dragon pit and gank through tri bush without you seeing. If you only ward tri bush you are vulnerable from the river. Warding the river mouth is safer with only one ward. If the creep line is pushed up to your tower keeping a ward in your bush is important to limit the enemies ability to harras. Warding tri and dragon is still nice at this point, but not as important. At this point of the game it becomes more important to pay attention to where the enemy is warding (this also means watching what the opponent has in inventory). This will allow you to counter ward opening paths for your jungler to gank. Counter warding involves using a pink ward to kill one of their wards. Often you can tell where the enemy is warding by how long the support goes MIA up the river. If their support ducks into the river bush and comes back out real quick you can guess they just dropped a ward there. Should they go up the river and return in a second chances are they warded at 7. When they go up the river and return in 2-3 seconds they probably warded tri bush. If they dissapear up the river for 4 or more seconds chances are they just warded dragon. Use this knowledge to your advantage. Use your pink to kill their ward. Make sure to be safe about it. Counter warding at dragon or river bush may require the help of your adc and or jungler. Counter warding when you have the lane pushed out is less dangerous.
