Middle Island Civic Association Meeting Notice Thursday, November 20th, 2014 at 7:00PM Our next MICA meeting will be held on Thursday, November 20th, at the Middle Island Fire Department HQ on Arnold Drive at 7:00 pm. A rep from Breslin Realty will update us on the blighted Old Kmart parcel, aka Artist Lake Plaza. This eyesore has plagued our community for far too long. It’s been six years since Breslin’s initial presentation. Further delay is simply unacceptable. Give voice to your concerns and ideas at this meeting. Tell your neighbors and invite them to attend. Please park in the rear, northeast parking area; the lots directly in front and behind the fire house are reserved for volunteer firefighters responding to emergencies in our community. Enter through the center doors facing Arnold Drive; these lead to the stairs that will take you to the second floor ballroom. If you can, please bring non-perishable goods for donation to local agencies for distribution to needy families in our community. Thanks!
