Middletown Post 25 now has a drop box for unserviceable flags. After struggling with storage problems for unserviceable flags for many years, we were able to obtain an unusable mail box. We were instructed that it had to be repainted so that any identifiable markings of the USPS were covered. Faith Baxter, who is the granddaughter of Adjutant Bob Frymoyer, is a student at Louis L. Redding Middle School. And when she learned this opportunity to help the veterans she was happy and willing to take on a community service project. She spent several Saturdays here painting and repainting the box until she had it just the way she wanted. Please feel free to drop your unserviceable flags in the box located next to our main door.
