Middling day at skerries with no practice and just controlled laps starting from second row was not ideal as its fair hard to pass, first superbike race went well finishing second with the fastest lap after getting held up for a few laps. The 600 was a brand new bike and the first time I rode it was in the race so 5th considering was not too bad. Was on pole for grand final and felt good, but it wasnt to be as it started to spit rain out the back of the track for 3 or 4 laps and with slicks on I decided I wasnt going to risk it as there was no telling how much grip there was or was not so just brought it home and was gifted a podium with Jamie going down who I wish a speedy recovery to.
