Might be an idea for a quick resume on the old BAD TO THE BONE for those of you unfamiliar. Way back in the early 90s a group of young(ish) comic artists and writers, some of whom had worked together since they were 15, formed a loose collective to collaborate on projects, work for independent publishers and self-publish. BAD TO THE BONE was born. We produced several hundred pages of work for the US independent Fantaco including the NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD series (we did zombies before it was cool), AIR WARRIORS and WEIRD WEST before self-publishing what was probably our signature creation, STREETMEAT. Along the way BTTB alumni worked for many other folk including 2000 AD, and many are professional artists today. But that was 20 years ago. Several marriages, children, jobs and two wars later, it feels time for a comeback. Is there a place for us in this overloaded, content-laden, infomercial-swamped digital ecosphere? We only do one thing - we tell good stories. Still room for that?
