Mike Forbess found this last night. I thought I would share. :) ( Inside Planet Earth) Movie Notes from I found this last night, took me awhile. But I have watched this movie on the science channel 115 and I have tried to find more and I finally found something from the show the movie note because scientist and a lot people dont wont it out that there is enough water to flood the earth. Keep Reading ( Inside Planet Earth) Here is part of the Movie Notes. Oceanic is heavier so when they collide with contintental they (oceanic) go below the continental. Whole sheets of crustal plate extend down to the core. Plate desciends and drags water down with it. Some of the water is stored in the mantle rock. Scientisst estimate there is more water below the surface than above it. No land could survive if all the water underground rose to the surface at once. Sea level would rise 2.5 miles above the peak of mount everest. Here is the link to the movie notes. https://docs.google/document/d/1PTLSkrWX8WPse4CILutaZEje5MUQBLsXYEfh_QdxRZg/mobilebasic?pli=1
