Mike Klatt and I went hunting the North Coast yesterday to find some surf. Mikey finally decided we were going to rush into Horseshoe Reef. What he didnt tell me, that it was private property, that we would have to hop over two barbed wire fences that were clearly marked private property and keep out, and that we would be trekking for over a half hour! Well, needless to say we rushed in, and the surf was really good, and there was another one of Mikes friends, Dan already out surfing by himself. I hadnt been shooting for more that about 45 minutes, and some Dude comes riding up on a mountain bike, telling me Dont you know, your trespassing Son and I claimed ignorance and after some chatting talked him into letting me shoot for a couple of hours!!! He told me it was a good thing for me that they had moved the bulls to another part of the ranch recently! Well, the life of a photographer...never dull!
