Mike Mosier, here are some pictures of what Minnesota went through 23 years ago when we had the Great Halloween Blizzard in 1991. Duluth had it the worst with 37 inches. Most of these pictures are from that city. I was living just outside of Pipestone, MN that year and had little ones that wanted to trick or treat. Mike was 10, Tony was 2 and James was only 2 months old. Nobody could see the costumes under the winter coats but we went out anyway to a very small neighboring town, trudging through the snow. I guess I did it to say we were trick or treating in a blizzard but when we went out, it actually wasnt that bad. Snow was piling up some but the wind hadnt picked up yet. The forecast in the morning wasnt that bad, a few inches and such but as the day went on, they kept adding more and more....I barely made it home as the snow was scraping the bottom of the station wagon. Funny thing is, I am the only one that can recall doing this. The kids dont. Ha!
