Mike Ross, and unfortunately the state GOP, are not being completely honest with you. The state GOP says that Mike Ross cast the deciding vote in committee for Obamacare, and then voted against it on the floor. What Mike Ross cast the deciding vote for was the Americas Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009, a bill which was a first attempt at Obamacare, but which did not pass the house. The PPACA, which is what we know as Obamacare, did not go through Rosss committee, but instead went through the Ways and Means committee. Ross is fibbing by saying that the GOPs statements are just lies without elaborating. The bill he voted out of committee that ended up failing contained much of what was later to become Obamacare, including the individual mandate.
