ADMIN - I have spoken today to the Mess President of the WO/SR Mess HMS Neptune..Originally my plan was that they would hopefully take 500 or so of our lapel pins to sell.However they had a mess meeting yesterday and the end result was that they were not going to participate.There was some concern about our charitble status and some misunderstanding of our operations...however a phone call has put the misunderstandings to bed...i made him an offer he couldnt refuse lol..i am sending him 100 pins to sell, at no cost to the mess,and they can keep 100% of the sale to donate to a charity of their choice. The way I see it..its free publicity for our cause and the money will go to an RN charity anyway so im happy with that. Next year they may be happier to participate!
