Last weekend we saw this tiny Shih Tzu mix boy on the NYC ACC intake alerts and my heart skipped a beat. I then saw he was listed as a red behavior rating and I knew we had to step in. According to the shelter, he was completely unapproachable, severely aggressive and unsocialized. We have rescued our fair share of reds to know that these dogs are usually just terrified and are ok after being out of the shelter environment for a few days. We didnt have any background info on Tiny Tim since he was a stray found tied to a fence. We rolled the dice and decided to take him in. I cant even describe how amazing he is!! From the second I took him out of the transport van he was a mush! He curled up on my lap on the drive home and wanted nothing other than to be held and pet and loved! So to sum it up....... TINY TIM IS AMAZING! He is also great with other dogs! Timmy weighs 8 pounds and he is fully vetted. He will need a foster home once he is over his kennel cough.
