Mike Shakarian thanks for the nomination. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a truly saddening disease that not only affects the sufferer but families and friends as well. With this and many other diseases we have the power to make a real change in a persons life. Learn about ALS and other chronic diseases (like stroke, SCI, TBI, MS); donate to these organizations as well; volunteer or just be knowledgeable about the hardships millions face daily.
