Mike lost his father to ALS in 2002. The news that Reg had ALS hit our family hard, but our faith in God and our love for one another were two things this horrible disease couldnt take away. While digging through songs that Mike has written over the years, I came across two that he had recorded while his father was suffering from ALS. After Mike got the news that it was definitely ALS, he poured himself into music and Praised God through it all. This was Mike crying out to God for help. How could I not share this beautiful, tender, loving moment. I am in awe of my husbands faith. It truly is never waivers. One of the things I love most about Mike is that prayer is always the first place he starts, it is never a last resort. Some pictures are fuzzy, and the recording is probably not up to Mikes standards, but this is from the heart. I just had to share. youtu.be/-yicdhkN-QQ
