Miko Peled is an Israeli peace activist who was born in Jerusalem into a well known Zionist family. His grandfather, Dr. Avraham Katsnelson was a Zionist leader while his father, Matti Peled was a general in the war of 1967 when Israel conquered the West Bank, Gaza, Golan Heights and the Sinai. In his blog posts, Peled repeatedly refers to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) as an “Israeli terrorist organization” that is part of a “well-oiled ethnic cleansing machine.” He has also written that Israels educational system is designed to turned Israeli children into racists who view Palestinians “as culturally inferior, violent and bent on the annihilation of the Jews, and...void of a true national identity,” and “as a problem that must be solved and as a threat that must be eliminated Peled supports the movement for boycotts, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) against Israel.
