Millions of people still have no idea who Alan Turing was, his importance on everyones (yes, everyones) lives and what we all have to thank him for; not just Breaking the Enigma Code and helping to end WW2 but, his master achievement in building ‘Christopher’ the first of the “Turing Machines” - what we now all use daily and are better know as ‘computers. It was an immense injustice that the then UK government and authorities didn’t strive to protect him, considering his service (and, posthumous pardon in 2013) the WORLD will forever be in his debt. Wonder if Jobs, Wozniak and Wayne’s 1976 Apple Inc” start-up was recognising the great man’s achievements - they say not but, it is too much of a coincidence that Alan, the Grand-Father of Computers committed suicide by taking a bite from an apple laced with cyanide and still the Apple logo today is “a half-eaten apple”. In the words of Joan Clarke (played by Knightley) “Sometimes it is the people who no-one imagines anything of, who do the things that no-one can imagine”…. Mr.Cumberbatch, you did the Mathematician Genius justice… This is a MUST see movie: The Imitation Game - youtube/watch?v=S5CjKEFb-sM
