Milo was found by animal rescue officer Khun Jaroon in Chalong, at the very south of the island of Phuket. Milo was found with an infected, swollen scrotum that smelt very bad. Milo also came to the clinic with a high temperature and skin problems. He is an old boy at approximately 12 years of age. Once the vets examined Milo it was decided that his scrotum would need to be removed as it is suspected that he has a tumour. Before surgery can be performed, the vets need to lower Milo’s temperature and treat him with fluids as he is showing signs of dehydration. Milo is also being treated with antibiotics and pain relief in preparation for his surgery. Milo is scheduled for surgery soon and we will update you on his progress as soon as possible.
