Minimize and devalue Black womanhood as well as people of color as - TopicsExpress

Minimize and devalue Black womanhood as well as people of color as a whole! I could cite example after example of media bias to support my assertion, but I don’t have all night. The real question is why does the media continue to minimize and devalue Black womanhood? -Sil Lai Abrams- Let me answer that question as unpleasant to hear by the victims as the answer may be. The media meaning mainstream media which is white owned media continues to demoralize, devalue and minimize black women, black men and the black race as a whole as well as all other races in America of color. Because the victims of those unjust actions permit those actions to be taken against them with nothing more than words of disgust for those actions being taken against them by the committers of those unjust acts. We as a people as a whole as disturbing and unpleasant as it may be to be unfairly portrayed negatively and treated unfairly by the media as well as other entities. Find it better to live with the negative portrayal and treatment then to take a stance and move from our comfort zone to a place of discomfort being considered a bad one or bad ones and not having our white brothers and sisters look upon us favorably because we have chosen to take a stance. A stance where equality is more than just words it becomes a way of life for all Americas people of color which includes both genders. The day black Americans as a whole as well as all other people of color in America decide to stand up and take a stance which includes actions much more than words. Actions including but not limited to civil disobedience only spending your money with those who respect you and your people. Hitting those who demoralize, devalue and minimize people of color as a whole in every way imaginable where their true heart is for the most part in their pocketbooks! Until they change their ways for the better. Until black Americans both genders and all other Americans of color both genders are willing to do that. Than that question that was asked “why does the media continue to minimize and devalue Black womanhood”? The media and all other entities will continue to answer that question reference its treatment of black women, black men and all other people of color both genders with the answer being in the question itself!
