I Wrestle 6 What a nice change it was to have someone else drive me and the SHWAmites to our favourite once a month wrestling show .. Dales brand new car got us their in plenty of time for a quick smoke only to find a delay in getting inside due to a power shortage .. ‘That is what happens when you do not pay the power bills Kermit’ .. eventually after a much needed hot dog,, the doors opened and we all rushed in awaiting the first show of the new year after the cancellation of January’s show because of the fires .. Soon enough we heard those magic words, ‘Are You Ready? .. I said, ARE YOU READDDDYYYYY!’ Match 1; The music hits and the moment the crowd recognise it the ‘Crab’ chant starts .. Kind of reminds me of a Crabalution, the music and the crab movement reminds me of something but I just cant get it .. Casey Crab Hanson’s partner is Joey Angel who gets a Luke warm reception cause we basically don’t know much about ya yet .. Crab and Joey Vs Red Revelation’s Crazy Train and SHWA’s very own super hero Crimson Lightning .. Looking forward to this match up .. The Crabalution and Crazy started off .. A nice even fight .. Crimson is tagged in and he and Crabalution pick up the pace .. Crabalution and Joey take control of Crimson with quick tags .. Crimson catches Crabalution and takes control long enough to tag in Crazy Train .. Red Revolution double team Casey Crabalution in the corner .. Casey Crabalution some how finds something and kicks out .. Joey is now back in and cleaning house .. Air Joey takes out both Revolution boys .. Back in the ring, Joey and Crabalution are in control .. Joey and Crabalution are having their way with Crazy Train .. From out of nowhere, Crazy Train fights back .. Joey and Crazy are both down and making their way to their corner for a double tag .. All four men now in ring .. Bodies are flying in all directions .. Crimson picks his moment and then gets the win from a low blow the referee did not see .. Crazy not too happy about the way Red Revolution won .. Now that was a great fight to start the night .. Casey Crabalution and Joey fought hard but were beaten in the end by a Super Crazy team. Match 2: Kermit (Eb’s Klaus) comes out and all I hear is blah .. Blah .. blah .. Following him is Big Dog Mr Dozer and the other members of KAPS (Kermit’s Apes Parasites and Simpletons) Don the dork and Jimmy the Chump .. All mouthing off about how good they are but I notice non of them ever come to the ring alone .. When the Man Mountain Big Mike Massive’s music hits .. Well suffice to say, we went wild .. It has been a while since we have seen Massive in SHWA .. Welcome back Man Mountain, with him as always is the presence known as Mrs Mass .. Like the Man Mountain Mike Massive himself, not someone to be messed with. .. The match starts of with a test of strength which is even .. A double close line puts both big men down .. The Little Puppy Dozzy rolls out the ring for a quick pep talk from Kermit and the KAPS, sounds like a good name for a boy band .. Maybe not, I just pictured what they would look like .. The Little Puppy Dozzy takes a short cut to win strength test and gets Massive in the corner where Dozzy delivers a Big splash to Massive .. The Man Mountain Mike Massive puts the Puppy Dog in the corner and shows him what a Massive Splash feels like .. As usual, the Puppy Dog is saved by the members of KAPS and as Massive is busy watching Dorky Don and Jimmy the Chump, the Puppy Dog attacks from behind and takes control just as the Man Mountain Mike Massive was about to take the win .. The Man Mountain fights back and everyone knows that without the outside help of KAPS Massive would have already won .. Massive takes back control and delivers a Massive Slam to the Puppy Dog .. But, thanks to Jimmy the chump hitting Mike Massive with his chained fist .. The Puppy Dog gets the One Two Three .. WOW .. What a horrible way to end what was looking like a good match up .. The Puppy Dog may have the W in the Win Loss column but all us SHWAmites know the Man Mountain Mike Massive is the real winner. Match 3: Scramble Match: He’s back, Jake Paragon enters the arena to much applause .. His first opponent is Eddy ’Taxi’ Bombay Vs Jarrod Slate Vs Jimmy the Chump Vs Liam .. Jake and Eddy ’Taxi’ start the match .. As expected, Jake is in complete control .. Jimmy the Chump attacks Liam from behind and wants a piece of Jarrod Slate( is he crazy?) .. Jarrod Slate gives Jimmy the Chump what he wants and gets a Two count .. Taxi seizes the moment and tosses them both out and now it is Taxi Vs Liam .. Taxi backs off and Jimmy the Chump takes over giving poor Liam a real beating .. Now Taxi is back to beat on Liam .. Jimmy the Chump comes off the top corner rope but only gets a Two count .. Liam gets his second wind and starts to fight back .. Jimmy the Chump wants no part of a fired up Liam and gets outta there .. Meanwhile .. Jarrod Slate is busy taking out everyone is sight .. Jimmy the Chump sees an opening and once again attacks from behind .. Now it’s Jimmy the Chump Vs Jake Paragon and Liam who is getting some pay back .. Liam Vs Slate .. Jimmy the Chump and Taxi attack them from behind .. Liam puts Jimmy the Chump on his shoulders and Jarrod Slate comes off top rope and puts Jimmy the Chump away for the One Two Three .. Jarrod Slate wins what was a Holly SHWA match. Half time .. Bugger! We did not win the Raffle .. Well done D15 Match 4: It’s Don the Dork with the members of KAPS Vs Wraith with the Muscle boys .. Don starts the match doing a lot of talking but not much fighting .. Eventually it turns into a good wrestling match, just a shame Kermit wont shut up .. Don the Dork is taking lots of short cuts .. Yet again KAPS resort to cheats to get their man a win .. The Puppy Dog trips up Wraith .. Don comes out of the ring only to fly into KAPS .. Air Wraith puts down KAPS and Wraith rolls Don the Dork back into the ring for a Two count .. The Dork catches Wraith climbing the ropes and takes control of the match .. Don the Dork gets a 1 ¾ on Wraith .. The Dorky Don flips Wraith from outside apron into ring and once again KAPS take an unfair advantage on outside .. Back in the ring and Dorky Don is in complete control for only a Two count as the crowd will on Wraith .. Don realises he can not do this on his own as Wraith keeps kicking out .. A big flip from the top corner rope puts both men down .. Wraith is up and about to win when the Puppy Dog drags Wraith out and beats up giving the Dorky Don the win .. Once again what could have been a good match ended up being spoiled by outside interference .. This could have been a really good One on One match .. Just goes to show you, a lesser wrestler needs help to get a W in the Win Loss column. Match 5: ‘Drum roll Please!’ SHWA Championship Match The chalenger is the first to come out and the crowd goes wild when they hear Dan Steels music and see the Muscles boys Wraith joining him ringside Vs Tugboat(Warship) with Dora (Dorian) Mascot (You all know who I mean) and the Silent Womanbeast (not quite a woman not quite a beast) .. Straight away Tuggy sends his fellow Shadow of Alice’s members backstage .. Tuggy does not look happy .. The match starts off as a good wrestling match .. Both competitors are even so far .. Tuggy gains the upper hand when he catches Dan coming through the ropes .. Both fight on outside .. Steel finaly gets his Air going and flys into Tuggy .. Match going back and forth .. Tuggy now in control but Steel will not stay down .. It is big hit after big hit but still a kick out .. Now Steel fighting back but gets caught on way back into the ring .. Both men are now down .. Steel get Tuggy in sharp shooter and Tuggy just gets to rope .. Tuggy puts down Steel but only gets a Two count .. Steel hits back but only gets a Two count .. That was so close to a Win for Steel but now Tuggy back in control .. Holly F’n SHWA this is SHWAsome .. Tuggy can not keep Steel down as Dan Steel gets his second wind .. Hits top rope move as the other Shadow members come from the back .. To all’s surprise, Mascot hits Tuggy with something that puts him off balance for long enough for Dan Steel to get Tuggy to tap and becoming the New SHWA Champion .. Showing his pedergree, Tuggy goes to the center of the squared circle and shakes Dan Steels hand .. Now that was a very honourable thing for someone from the Shadows of Alice to do .. I take my hat off to you Tuggy. WOW .. Many Holly F’N SHWA and SHWAsome moments for the first show of the year .. Loved the show and the new set up and one and all of us agreed that the Main Event was the Match of the Night .. Can not wait to see what you put up for Colateral Damage. Ros C Enberg Feb 1014
