Minnesota Twins announced that they have hired Hall of Famer Paul Molitor as their new Manager. Molitor signed a three year deal that runs through the 2017 season. Joe Maddons contract with the Chicago Cubs is for five years & will earn around $25 million dollars. The Cubs officially announced Maddons hiring in a team release on Friday. Kansas City Royals have exercised their $7 million dollar club option on RHP Wade Davis. Davis went 9-2 with a 1.00 ERA in 71 relief appearances this season. Tampa Bay Rays have exercised their $2.5 million dollar team option on RHP Joel Peralta. Peralta went 3-4 with a 4.41 ERA in 69 relief appearances. Milwaukee Brewers Aramis Ramirez has exercised his side of his $14 million dollar mutual option & will return to the team in 2015. Ramirez hit .285 (141-494) with 15 home runs & 66 RBI in 133 games. Chicago Cubs have signed LHP Tsuyoshi Wada to a one year deal, worth $4 million dollars & has another $2 million available in incentives. Wada went 4-4 with a 3.25 ERA in 13 starts this season. Wada went 10-6 with a 2.77 ERA in 19 games (18 starts) in the Triple-A this season as well. Los Angeles Dodgers have re-signed RHP Barry Enright to a new minor league deal. Enright last pitched in the Majors during the 2013 season with the Angels, going 0-2 with a 12.96 ERA in 4 games (2 starts). Enright went 4-13 with a 6.20 ERA in 27 games (24 starts) in the minors this season.
