Minnesota makes EAG News on the new, federally mandated school lunch program. Wayzata school district opted-out of the funds creating their own food program. The new regulations also affect school fundraisers. Minnetonka Orchestra students were recently warned they are not permitted to sell candy bars during school hours - beginning at midnight lasting until 30 minutes after school has ended. The district then suggested kids pick apples to fundraise in order to comply with regulations.
