Minor falls into trench, dies Srinagar, April 12: (GNS) A three-year-old boy Saturday died after he fell into a trench in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. Reports said that Mohsin Fayaz had gone to meet his maternal uncle at Muqaam-e-Shah Wali in the district when he fell into a open trench. “Mohsin, who was playing with other boys suddenly, fell into the trench,” witnesses said, adding the hue and cry of other boys caught the attention of nearby people who rushed to the spot. The locals rescued the boy from the trench in unconscious state and took him to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. Meanwhile, a pal of gloom descended at his home in Kupwara town and at his uncle’s residence after the tragic death of the minor boy.
