Mirandas hair was a challenge in that I knew I wanted it tall and big...so with the help of a trimmed blonde afro wig (yes and afro wig), my new secret curl curling iron, lots of hair spray and a metal detectors nightmare of bobby pins this is what we ended up with. The hat was fun to make but I did not want the Feather to be too annoying or distracting so placement and floral color choice was key. The make-up was new for me in that I knew I wanted all over pale skin like that of the era. So, I used Geisha pale stage make-up all over her exposed skin. Never having worked with stage make-up before brought some challenges and lessons learned. The Necklaces were all handmade by me using pearls, an antique broach and lace, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver.
