Misleading title -- "Santo Ki Satyata: Baba Ramdev Exposed " The above audio has been making rounds on Facebook. The audio has Rajeev Dixitjee criticizing Swami Ramdevji on two specific issues only -- (1) that Swamiji charged fees for Yoga classes. (2)another criticism is that money collected at Pune was used to build Ashram in Haridwar. There is NOTHING against Swamiji, other than these two points. But title of the video has been put like "Santo Ki Satyata: Baba Ramdev Exposed ", which is really misleading title. This audio came in around 2007-2008, before Dixitjee joined BST. Now many persons, including myself, do NOT oppose the fact that Swamiji took money for Yog classes. The classes had free seats in back. Only the front rows are paid rows. I see nothing wrong in it. It is impossible to make Yoga classes be made 100% free for all. Ground rent runs into lakhs of rupees. To that add, stage cost, sound system rent etc etc. And money was needed to build Haridwar Ashram and several establishments across India. In older days, Kings used to give free land to sages. These days, Govt demand political support for land. Now Swamiji did NOT want free land from Congress Govts in center or other states. So Swamiji decided to take fees for Yoga classes for those who want front rows. I really dont see anything wrong in it. In any case, there is nothing "exposed" in the video.
