Miss Angel and I were invited to speak to a local group of Girl Guides this evening. Angel prepped for it last week and sewed Hugginz travel pillows for each of the girls and leaders. And we bought cookies to share with them. This group of girls had spent two guide meetings cutting out 99 angel bodies and wings for Hugginz blankets. So we got to thank them tonight. We took two Hugginz blankets to show them. We explained where the blankets travel to and whom they are sewn for. And then Angel showed them the most important part, how to put love into the blankets. Each guide took a turn putting love into the 2 blankets. The girls were invited to bring a parent and come sew at the Hugginz Studio. Before saying goodbye we shared a very important message with them. We told them that everyone that comes to the Hugginz Studio leaves with a hug, or knuckles or a high 5. Ans then Angel asked everyone to join into a group hug because thats what Hugginz is all about, sharing love. ♡♡♡ As we drove home Angel excitedly, proudly, happily stated, Im a pro!! several times over, and she gave me a high five a few times as well. We decided that were ready to bring Angels Hugginz blankets into classrooms and community groups and ask even more children and families to join #TeamHugginz.
