***Miss Angie - Honorary Canine #1*** No, we havent gotten - TopicsExpress

***Miss Angie - Honorary Canine #1*** No, we havent gotten confused and mistaken a kitten for a puppy! :-) We would like to introduce Hear No Evils first honorary canine - little Miss Angie, an 11 week old kitten rescued from Hawkesbury Pound in Sydney on Christmas Eve. Miss Angie came to us as a deaf cat - something very common in most blue eyed white cats. However, we have established that she does have some hearing, but is most certainly hearing impaired. She barely reacts to sound, unless woken from her sleep by a loud noise. She is also generally unable to locate the source of sound which is a clear indication that she is not hearing in stereo. After spending the last few weeks in quarantine recovering from a mild dose of cat flu, were pleased to announce that Miss Angie is now available for adoption. This little bundle of fluff is amazingly sweet and has coped with her quarantine period so well. She has kept herself entertained with her toys, naps for a large part of the day, sleeps through the night, uses her litter tray beautifully, eats wet and dry food, was wonderful about having her twice-daily eye drops administered and she gets so excited when it’s cuddle and play time. Like most hearing impaired cats, this little mite has no volume control. Although she rarely meows, her purr is wonderfully loud. As a hearing impaired cat and as a white cat, Miss Angie needs a forever home where she will be an indoor only cat. If you think you can provide this smoochy little kitten with her perfect forever home, please send us a PM or email us at austdeafdogrescue@outlook
