Miss Julia had the best weekend! After 8 months of following her doctors orders to stay close to the hospital, she finally got the green light to venture out an hour or two from home. Shes really missed the lake and was so excited to be back! We were so happy and thankful to see her having fun and doing the things she loves. There are no words to describe the pain you feel when your child is suffering, but there are also no words to describe the JOY you feel when you see them surviving, thriving, and living life to the fullest! She is our hero and we thank God for her every day! Thank you to everyone for the good thoughts and prayers...we appreciate them so much. Julias growing a little stronger each day, but shes still pretty weak from her last round of chemo/radiation....it was a doozy and took quite a toll on our tough little cookie. Please send prayers that she makes counts on Wednesday and can start the Maintenance phase of her treatment...woohoo! Love and thanks to all!
