Missing girl found dead in Ganderbal Srinagar: Ganderbal police recovered the body of a missing girl from the Power Canal at Gutli Bagh. The deceased was reported to be missing since 9th June from Kangan. Ganderbal Police today recovered the body of a girl Shahnaza daughter of Ghulam Mohi-u-Din Shah resident of Chinner, Kangan from a Power Canal near Warpash, Gutli Bagh, in the jurisdiction of Police station Ganderbal, official sources said. Ganderbal police has started investigation under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of the death. After conducting medico-legal formalities police handed over the body of deceased girl to her relatives for last rites.
