Missing this view this morning but my heart is full after a wonderful trip to South Carolina. There is something about the Low Country that is a visual metaphor for our journey. When the tide is out, you are in the weeds, the tall grass and the muck of swamp. But just over the dunes is the vastness and majesty of the ocean. Three years ago Garrett Luce began his adventure at the College of Charleston and what we thought was all about baseball. We now know it was about these people (and others not pictured) . When your son or daughter goes 1200 miles away to school their friends really do become family and now these friends Garrett chose so well are family to us!
