Mission League baseball feature: Hadley tosses no-hitter for Loyola UCLA bound pitcher Nathan Hadley, shoving determinedly from start to finish, fired a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts and one walk while finishing two over the minimum 21 outs for Loyola, which provided him with voluminous run support in a 15-0 rout of host St Francis at Brookside Parks Jackie Robinson Field in Pasadena. The Cubs jumped out to a 2-0 first inning lead and kept furthering its offensive assault from there, piling on five runs in the second, three in the fifth, four in the sixth, and one in the seventh. Angelo Armenta (2/5, 2 runs) had a two run triple, one run double, and an RBI groundout for a team high four RBI. Dustin Shirley (2/3, 2 runs, SB, RBI) wasted no time in his second trip at the plate, smashing his first-pitch for a solo home run towering over the deepest side of the ball park in left field. Loyola finished with 17 hits, eight of those for extra bases, including two doubles by both Quinn Brodey (3/5, 2 runs) and Nick Sablock (2/4), Armentas double and triple, Shirleys solo homer, and from off the bench - a two run triple by Spencer Rouse (1/2, run), to cap its major-hit onslaught. Matt Omori (two runs) and Derek Marshall (one run) both went two for two with a stolen base; Awari Muoneke scored a run and had a RBI infield single; Stephen Dubb added 2 RBI on a groundout and single, and Henry Stellwagen made the most of his pinch hit opportunity by working a nine pitch walk to round out the Cub highlights. @Johnny Sweetstrokes Thomas Lapham Alex Bbstar Ettinger Nathan Chow
