Mission Prayer Update Nov 25 Its time to pray for our Missionaries on LONELINESS Introduction: Another pressure missionaries (whether single or married) face is loneliness in a strange land. The Israelites in exile lamented by the rivers of Babylon, and hung up their harps due to loneliness (Psalm 137). David in Psalm 63 cried out to God with his whole being in a dry and thirsty land, all night long, even as he lay on his bed. Missionaries experience similar emotions on the field, far away from old friends and family members. Prayer: 1) As it is written in Matthew 19:29, Let pray that this will be the portion of missionaries. 2) Pray that more Christians would take time out to write, call or visit missionaries (Proverb 25:25). 3) Lets come against the spirit of loneliness in missionaries. God bless you! Mission is our joint responsibility.
