Mission Prayer Update September 1 Happy New Month LESOTHO Total Population of 1.89 million Christian 89.31% Ethnoreligionist 9.50% Bahai 0.80% Non-religious 0.25% Hindu 0.10% Muslim 0.04%. Introduction: The country has freedom of religion. It is the only country in the world with its entire area is above 1,000 metres in altitude. Lesotho means Kingdom in the sky. It is also regarded as Christian country because the percentage of Christians is more than those other religions but Gospel reception is poor and those who profess to have surrendered their lives to Jesus are neck-deep in many practices like deception, ancestral worship and chronic love for money, among other things. Evangelist Reinhard Bonkhe started his worldwide ministry in lesotho and spent seven full years there before launching into the international scene. Also lack of unity in the body of Christ and compromise are major challenges facing the Church. Prayer: 1) Lets pray that Christ will be truly formed in the heart of everyone in this country. 2) Lets ask God to frustrate every plan of the devil against the body of Christ and they will be a light to those living in darkness. 3) Lets pray for missionaries labouring in this country that they will see the Church of God as universal Church and not as denominational Church.
