Mitch Salmon The LORD says, “I AM the God of ‘Yeses’ and ‘Amens.’” Yet there are many who resist His call. Their response is, “No” and “It will never come to pass.” As the LORD lays upon their hearts the calling He has for them they respond in one of two manners. He labels them as “Jonahs” and “Moses.” When Jonah received God’s instruction his heart rebelled. Rather than answering God’s calling on his life he ran as far and as fast as he could in the opposite direction. When the LORD brought a mighty storm upon his life Jonah finally relented. He knew that he could no longer resist the LORD. When Moses received God’s instruction his heart was overcome by his feelings of inferiority, doubt and fear. He responded to the LORD, “What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The LORD did not appear to you’?” Despite the LORD giving him signs and wonders, Moses persisted in his doubt. “I am slow of speech and tongue” he retorted. Then the LORD said unto him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the LORD? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” Finally Moses resistance was broken and he did as God had instructed him. The LORD has a word for you today. He says, “If I give you a mission, will I not also equip you with all the tools required to complete it? I will not leave you high and dry. While I will give you assignments that are beyond your personal ability, nothing beyond My ability. Along with each assignment is an outpouring of My Holy Spirit. You need only ask for it.” The LORD does not know the word, “Impossible.” It simply is not in His vocabulary. With Him ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. I have good news for the “Jonahs” and the “Moses.” When Jonah finally relented and did as God told him to do, a great city was brought to repentance. Lives were brought back from the brink of destruction when he spoke the message God had given him. When Moses finally stepped beyond his feelings of inferiority, when he finally placed faith the LORD rather than holding onto his fear and doubt, he led God’s people out of bondage and into freedom. “Arise, Jonah. Go to the place I have laid upon your heart and preach the message of repentance so that lives may be spared. Arise, Moses and lead my people out of captivity and bondage into the place which I have promised. Arise and respond to My call with the words I long to hear, ‘Yes’ and ‘Amen.’” Yes, let it be, LORD. May Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We turn our attention away from the roadblocks. We look beyond our feelings of inferiority. We step through the fear in faith. We choose to listen to Your voice which says, “All things are possible” over the familiar voice that says, “I can’t.” We say, “Yes, LORD, yes, LORD, yes, yes, LORD. Yes, LORD, yes, LORD, yes, yes, LORD. Yes, LORD, yes, LORD, yes, yes, LORD… AMEN!” youtube/watch?v=VsIUFy9kFMU Trading My Sorrows - Darrell Evans [lyrics] youtube DOWNLOAD HERE: yuntaa/FileManager/Download.aspx?ContentID=6D96E38FD4D26D9CE04400144FB7B71E Like · · Follow Post · Share · 3 hours ago Desiree Blackman and 3 others like this.
