Mitch and John will kill me for posting on Facebook but I believe in prayer and thanks to Facebook John received 100 prayers the first hour I posted the heart transplant was a go. Thank you all and continue to pray that things continue to go as well as they have. Also please say a prayer for the family who lost their loved one in a tragedy, and made the choice to give others a second chance at life, cannot even imagine what they are going through. To the the nursing staff at THE Ohio State University and Dr. Higgins, Dr. Hasan, dr. Whitson all of the transplant team for all of your efforts. What an amazing group of people, the sacrifices you make, demeanor and professionalism is second to none. Dr. Whitson modestly said the big guy up above played a big part in all of this. God has bigger and better things planned for John, Cathy and family!!
