Mixed emotions on a doctor appointment today. Time for Pap (yuck), mammogram (yuck), and colonoscopy (triple yuck). Knew it was time, but still hesitant about making the appointments, but they were made today. Doctor told me that he was very proud of me for quitting smoking. I told him not to be too proud yet since it has only been two weeks, but he said it didnt care if it was 2 days...he was still proud. That made me feel good. My A1C was down almost 2 points!! Yeah!! Also bad news, but not totally bad, I have to have surgery on both of my hands. My ring finger and middle finger on both hands have trigger finger. He said the surgery will fix them and I will kick myself for not getting it done sooner...still it is a surgery and I am waiting to hear from the orthopedic doctor on when it will be. So, good news and bad, but overall a good visit.
