Mixed emotions tonight as I have decided to go home for my friends funeral on Saturday. We are the same age, born on the same day, and to think that he is now gone puts things in a different light because it means that more and more of my contemporaries will be passing from the scene too. Ive done more than my share of funerals over the last 30+ years, but now one begins to feel the cold hand of mortality a little bit differently.
